Today, as National Coney Island moves into the 21st Century, there are plans for several additional units and an expansion goal that averages two new units per year.

The simple menu mentioned earlier has evolved into a diverse offering of garden-fresh salads, homemade soups, delicious sandwiches, like our popular Hani Special TM, dinners, Greek specialties , desserts, and, of course, award winning coney island style hot dogs and chili sauce.

The simple décor of long ago has changed to a unique, lively combination of neon lights, polished brass fixtures, custom oak woodwork and quarry tile.

Larger units range from 6,000 to over 9,000 square feet.

Many of these offer beer and wine, as well as the "National Fountain" - a portion of the service area used for making hand-dipped ice cream floats, milkshakes and sundaes.

Pinball or video games are usually placed near the front entrance as entertainment for children.

Several units offer drive-thru service as well. Recognizing that drive-thru and carry-out dining are trends of the future, we try to incorporate drive-thru systems whenever possible.

National Coney Island also operates food-court style units with a limited menu. Requiring only a small portion of the capital investment, and at a fraction of the overall operating costs, these units are between 500 and 650 square feet.

As National Coney Island moves into the future, we strive to maintain the same high quality and service standards that have been the basis for our many years of continued success.

With the help of H. C. Raptoplous Architectural Design, National looks to always incorporate the latest designs and building trends.

National Coney Island is definitely not like your average local diner or family-style restaurant - we've got pizzaz!

We're a bright, friendly place where there is always a lot of 'hustle and bustle" and everyone feels right at home.
